With effect from Monday 17 November 2008, Val Ledden assumes the position of Managing Director of Volvo Construction Equipment Ltd.

Val Ledden has been appointed as Managing Director of Volvo Construction Equipment Limited, the wholly owned dealer for Great Britain. Previously Sales Director and deputy M.D., Val takes over from Rob Dicker who has been appointed as Senior Vice President – Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the Volvo Construction Equipment Group in Brussels.

His twenty years experience at Volvo Construction Equipment within Customer Support, Compact Equipment, Used Equipment and General Purpose Production Equipment sales will stand Val, aged 46, in good stead for the challenge ahead.

Volvo Construction Equipment Ltd market wheeled loaders, articulated haulers, hydraulic excavators, graders, Volvo Compact Equipment and Volvo road machinery products. Nine strategically placed customer support centres and a network of compact equipment dealers ensure high quality customer support throughout Great Britain.
